Homemade Garlic Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4-5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic. Use a fork or spoon to blend the garlic evenly into the butter.
  2. Season: Add salt and black pepper (if using) to the butter mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Add Herbs: If desired, fold in the chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and added flavor.
  4. Chill: Transfer the garlic butter to a small container or roll it into a log using plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the butter to firm up.
  5. Use: Once chilled, your garlic butter is ready to use. Spread it on bread, use it to cook vegetables, or melt it over steak or seafood for a delicious garlic-infused touch.
